Congratulations to eighth grader, Leona Burton, who placed 2nd in the long jump and the 100 meter dash, and 5th in the 200 meter dash at the state track meet in Peoria on May 12th.  Nettle Creek School placed 7th overall at the meet.  Nettle Creek sent 6 athletes to the state meet.
